The Go Roam Basecamp Package starts with everything included in our Foundation Package: sound deadening, two-layer insulation, carpet lining, a carpeted roof panel, four LED lights, roof vent, an insulated subfloor and hard-wearing vinyl flooring.

Basecamp then turns that professionally finished interior into a complete two-person camper, adding fitted windows and curtains, your choice of a U-shaped or galley-style layout, a seating area that converts into a bed, built-in storage, a compact kitchen cabinet, roof ventilation and a simple 12V electrical system.

It is designed for customers who want a comfortable and practical camper that is ready for weekends away, without the cost or complexity of a fully equipped touring conversion.

What is included?
Complete Foundation Package
Basecamp begins with the full Foundation Package: sound deadening, two-layer insulation, carpet lining, a carpeted roof panel, four recessed LED lights, roof vent, an insulated subfloor and hard-wearing vinyl flooring.
You can choose from our standard range of carpet colours and vinyl flooring finishes.

Windows and curtains
Two bonded side windows are fitted to bring natural light into the rear of the van. Curtains are installed on the new windows.
Seating / Bed System
A practical seating and sleeping system is fitted to make the most of the available space inside your van. During the day it provides a comfortable seating area, then converts into a bed when it is time to sleep.
The exact style, layout and storage arrangement will depend on the size and shape of your van, as well as your chosen seating and bed configuration.

Compact kitchen cabinet
Depending on the size of your van and your chosen layout, the Basecamp Package can include a compact kitchen or storage cabinet with a durable worktop and useful cupboard space.

The exact size, position and design will vary to make the best use of the available space without compromising the seating, bed or access through the van.

12V electrical system & battery
A leisure battery and DC-to-DC charging system provide power while you are away.

A passive roof vent is fitted to improve airflow through the van and help reduce heat, condensation and stale air.

Pricing
The Basecamp Package is priced according to the size and wheelbase of your van and your layout choices
Small vans - £3,999
Examples include the Volkswagen Caddy / Caddy Maxi and Ford Transit Connect.​

Medium vans (Short-wheel base) - £4,499
Examples include short-wheelbase Volkswagen Transporters, Ford Transit Customs and Renault Trafics.

Medium vans (Long-wheel base) - £4,749
Examples include long-wheelbase Transporters, Transit Customs, Trafics, Vauxhall Vivaros and Nissan Primastars.

The final furniture arrangement and kitchen cabinet will depend on the size of the van and your chosen layout. The fixed price assumes the van arrives empty, reasonably clean and ready for work.

Additional preparation, replacement panels, repairs or optional equipment will be discussed and agreed before work begins.
How it works
1. Book your conversion
Get in touch with us to tell us about your van and choices you would like for carpeting and flooring then we'll draw up some options and quotes for you depending on layout. Once happy we'll send you a link to pay your £1,999 deposit and book you in on an available date that suits you best.

2. Drop off your van
Bring your van to us on your chosen drop-off date, empty, reasonably clean and ready for work. Where needed, we can take you to a Worcester train station after drop-off.
3. Collect your van and pay the balance
The Basecamp Package usually takes around one week. Once the work is complete, we can collect you from a Worcester train station and bring you back to the workshop. The remaining balance is payable when you collect your van.
