T6 Bespoke Conversion

This one started with our Foundation package, then we added a 12V electrical system to give the van a bit more independence when away.

Chris was working to a tight budget, so rather than fitting a more expensive off-the-shelf bed system, we designed and built a custom fixed bed specifically for the van.

The bed was built to a set height to suit how Chris wanted to use the space, while still leaving the right amount of storage underneath for his gear.

The result is a simple, practical camper setup built around the customer rather than around a standard template.

If you’ve already got a van and want to get the basics right first, our Foundation package gives you the starting point and we can discuss additional work depending on what you need.

Caddy Maxi Bespoke Conversion

This conversion was built around our Basecamp package, designed for customers who want to go beyond the essentials and leave with a van that is much closer to being ready for weekends away.

Basecamp builds on the core conversion work with the features that make the van properly usable as a camper, including the furniture, sleeping setup and supporting systems needed to make the space work day to day.

For this build, the customer also chose to upgrade the standard furniture setup, giving the van a more complete interior with additional storage and a layout better suited to how they wanted to use it.

The result is a compact two-person camper that makes the most of the Caddy Maxi’s space without trying to turn it into something it isn’t.

Our packages are there to give each build a clear starting point, with upgrades and additional work available where you want something a little different.

Go Roam Campers is an independent campervan conversion company based near Worcester.

Founded by Alex, Ben & Danny, we combine practical industry experience with a genuine love of travel, camping and the outdoors.

We create straightforward, thoughtfully designed conversions for people who want to explore more.

From insulated and carpet-lined interiors to complete conversions, every van is built with care, honest advice and close attention to detail.

Our aim is simple: to make campervan adventures more accessible.

Alex

Alex is passionate about all things automotive and has worked as a domestic and commercial electrician for more than 12 years. He brings valuable technical and electrical expertise to each conversion.

Ben

Ben has a background in vehicle mechanics and has always enjoyed working with vehicles. With several years of practical experience in the campervan industry, along with a genuine love of camping and the outdoors, he brings hands-on knowledge and careful attention to every conversion.

Danny

Danny developed his love of the outdoors during his military career. He now brings experience in business analysis and project management, helping to plan conversions and keep each project running smoothly.
